What is iFan?
As I was growing up my football team were on the decline, week in, week out, results were going against us. I ended up thinking why do I invest so much emotion and interest in something that I have absolutely no control over. A negative result would ruin my weekend. I wanted some control over the beautiful game, or at least that played by my team. If I had my way, I would do things differently. I loved the team but often loathed the selection by the manager; why couldn’t he even get the starting eleven right?

As my frustration grew I realised that I had no real way of letting my club know what I saw as the obvious reasons we were losing and I wasn’t alone; there were many frustrated armchair managers.

"Being a football fanatic and spending most of my spare time chatting and arguing with friends over just about every football issue, it struck me that as this is happening all over the  every day of the year a web site exclusively for the fans was desperately needed.

I wanted a one stop shop, a whole lot more than a chat room or blog. I wanted a site which not only allows fans to communicate with other fans, but provided news, features and competitions and most crucially gave football fans a chance to let their views be known to the clubs they support.
